India Vision 2020

Let me share with you friends, the type of India’s profile in the year 2020, that the people of our country aspire and that we need to attain by implementing the missions at every level of society, institutions, organizations and the government with the peoples movement. I visualize:

1. A Nation where the rural and urban divide has reduced to a thin line.
2. A Nation where there is an equitable distribution and adequate access to energy and quality water.
3. A Nation where agriculture, industry and service sector work together in symphony.
4. A Nation where education with value system is not denied to any meritorious candidates because of societal or economic discrimination.
5. A Nation which is the best destination for the most talented scholars, scientists, and investors.
6. A Nation where the best of health care is available to all.
7. A Nation where the governance is responsive, transparent and corruption free.
8. A Nation where poverty has been totally eradicated, illiteracy removed and crimes against women and children are absent and none in the society feels alienated.
9. A Nation that is prosperous, healthy, secure, peaceful and happy and continues with a sustainable growth path.
10. A Nation that is one of the best places to live in and is proud of its leadership.

Now friends, you can see the aspiration and vision of the people of India. It is indeed now necessary to match the impedance between the vision of India and Vision of any institution, particularly in this context Anna University. I am sure your mission of capacity building and research will certainly enrich the Anna University and thereby the nation. Any institution growth is justified by its standing on its research-teaching-research.

Hi

Proud to be an Indian. Individuality should be trained based on the listed points, from this minute on. No matter what is age / sex / position / economy.,  everyone should contribute towards the goal. Feel from heart to serve our country, and dont stop anyone who takes positive efforts towards the  Kalam's goal, because of selfish needs.

Jai Hind,

Thanks,

Nirmala Subramani.

Well,

As a student we can say that the perception of Dr. Kalam is  right.

I and Nilesh studied about the condition and we found that many things are there for which government should take prompt steps and it may take lot of time to like the unequal distribution of national income and because of that poor becoming more poorer and rich people are getting more richer. so I think that this is the time to change system and live in the world which Dr. kalam is dreaming and iam sure this will happen someday because our youths are too enthusiastic.

WE PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN !!!

                                                                                                THANK YOU

                                                                                               Nilesh, Tarun

                                                                                               Students
